Keniston's Motorsports has a large service department on site to take care preseason checks and general maintenance. It’s our goal to make it easy and affordable for you to get back out onto the trails for as long as you can. That’s why we’re open year-round; you won’t have to worry about rushing to get a service appointment last minute before the season opens. Don’t forget to ask us about our 10-point trailer check over. 

Our preseason checks (for all makes and models of snowmobiles) start at $79.95 and covers inspection for:
• Ski alignment • Spring & shock breakage or leakage • Ski breaks or cracks • Tire rod bend or wear  
• Engine compression & report • Plugs • Throttle cables • Fuel contamination • Carb contamination 
• Drive belt & report • Drive clutch, check weights, springs, & rollers • Lube clutch with Comet clutch lube 
• Chain case fluid • Lights • Track alignment • Stud wear, missing or broken wheels
• Lubricate all fittings • Chain tension • Ski runners

Keniston's Motorsports Offers Repair & Replacement Services

During our checks, we may find things that need to be resolved before you can safely ride your vehicle. We charge for parts and labor for these additional services: 

• Fuel filter replacement • Fuel line replacement • Plug replacement • Chain fluid replacement • Light bulb replacement
• Stud service ( carbide tip stainless steel studs can be installed for $3.98 each)

Our service department also provides more heavy-duty labor work to ensure that your vehicle is fit for operation. 

We can remove and replace suspensions to check all idler bearings and other bent or broken parts that can’t be seen during a standard check. Our labor rate is usually ¾ of an hour. 

If you’re looking for align your skis for easier handling (3/16 toe-out), bring your sled in! Labor rates for this service are generally ½ hour. 

Some other services include synchronized carbs and cleaning your air box (1/2 hour labor rate) or removing and cleaning your carbs (3/4 hour labor rate).
